Part of my work as a Communications Marketing Strategist at creative agency, I-CUBE, was getting involved in various digi-sci events that were held in different cities. As a member of the creative group, my team and I were sometimes allowed to attend events put out by our clients whom we helped in their marketing efforts. As such, I was presented with the opportunity to work as a marketing coordinator with one of Canada's multi-million dollar company — Carta Worldwide.
This opportunity took place during the Mobey Day conference, which was held at the highly acclaimed Four Seasons Toronto. Inevitably, it was a sell-out event that took place from 8am – 5pm. Each day’s agenda was jammed-packed with representatives from some of the world’s leading companies within the financial technology (Fintech) industry, including VISA.
Together with my collegue, I was incharge of creating marketing graphics, executing social media campaigns on FaceBook and Instagram, and curating their website to drive organic SEM. I was also incharge of logistics, which included accounting for the audio-visual equipment.
